About the role

As a junior production engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role in a high-tech environment where details determine the whole. You will be part of an experienced team where your curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative are highly valued. Here, you will play an important role in ensuring that manufacturing is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

About the team

You will work together with six colleagues in close collaboration with technical preparation. Together, you contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes and defining requirements for the design to make the products as cost-effective and high-quality as possible.

As a junior member of the team, you will gradually grow into more complex tasks and receive support from senior colleagues.

Examples of tasks:
  • Participate in improvement work and be involved in solving production technical challenges
  • Support the work of optimizing work methods and flows
  • Work with daily deviation handling and communicate with various support functions
  • Work with Lean-inspired processes to create efficient working methods
  • Contribute to developing layouts and workplace descriptions
  • Work closely with preparation and provide quick feedback on production-related issues
  • The tasks and focus areas can be adapted based on your experience and interests
Your profile:

To succeed in this role, you need to be proactive, relationship-building, and solution-focused and have a desire to understand how things work. You enjoy collaborating and find it easy to communicate with both technical specialists and production staff. You take responsibility for learning quickly and enjoy working in a context where technology and practical implementation meet.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in production technology or similar, or relevant work experience as a production technician, assembler, operator, or similar role
  • Requirement for Swedish citizenship
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
  • Experience with business or production systems such as IFS or similar
  • Previous work or studies in aerospace technology, production, or technology-related environments
  • Experience interpreting work instructions
  • Experience in improvement work, e.g., LEAN
